Anna Wallner is the President and a founding partner of Worldwide Bag Media Inc., a leader in lifestyle and reality entertainment television. Co-creator, host, and executive producer of the hit series Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag, Anna & Kristina’s Beauty Call, andThe Shopping Bags, Anna continues to focus on growing the A&K brand. She also serves as executive producer on all other WBM shows, including consumer health programBuy.o.logic for OWN Canada, and the adventure food show, Get Stuffed for OLN.
Anna received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and completed the graduate journalism program at the University of King’s College in Halifax. In 1994, she returned to Vancouver to begin her television career for Global News, where she spent five years as a reporter and anchor. Anna was voted Broadcaster of Tomorrow by the BC Broadcasters Association in 1999 and in 2000 she was nominated for the prestigious Webster award for her work as a health reporter. Anna and Kristina Matisic came up with the idea for The Shopping Bags in 1999 and have been leaders in lifestyle entertainment ever since. With her breadth of experience in front of and behind the camera, and her leadership skills as president, Anna, along with co-founder Matisic, is spearheading Worldwide Bag Media Inc. into becoming a top production company in Canada.

Kristina Matisic is the CEO and a founding partner of Worldwide Bag Media Inc., a leader in lifestyle and reality entertainment television. She is one of the creators, hosts and executive producers of the hit series Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag, Anna and Kristina’s Beauty Call, and The Shopping Bags. In addition to growing the A&K programming arm, Kristina also serves as executive producer on all other WBM shows, including health program Buyologic for OWN Canada, and the adventure food show, Get Stuffed for OLN.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Southern California, Kristina spent six years at Global TV’s Vancouver station, first as an overnight news anchor and then as the news anchor and producer of the 11:30 p.m. newscast. While at Global, Anna and Kristina hatched The Shopping Bags concept, and have been creating entertaining and award-winning lifestyle content ever since. Their website annaandkristina.com relaunched in November 2012 and continues to draw tens of thousands of unique visits every month.
As a producer, director and story editor, Thomas Hunt has dedicated more than 15 years to the successful development and execution of a dozen documentary, reality and lifestyle TV series.
Prior to his successful transition to television, he was a network producer for CBC Radio.
Born in Toronto, raised in San Francisco, university-educated in Nova Scotia, and whiskey-educated in Scotland, Lauren Bercovitch became a landed Vancouverite in 2007. After production managing at Adbusters Media Foundation for 5 years and being instrumental in launching the Occupy movement, Lauren joined the Worldwide Bag Media team to help story produce the Gemini-nominated hit series Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag. Since wrapping on Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag, Lauren now produces content for and helps manage AnnaAndKristina.com and anxiously awaits the day she will wear grown-up shoes, even though she officially became a woman in 2009 at her adult bat mitzvah.
Stephen Sawchuk was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to Vancouver to pursue an education and career in film & television. Stephen first began working for Bag Media on the third season of Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag. Shortly after the wrap of season three, Stephen worked on the health & wellness series Buy.o.logic, before moving on to work as the production coordinator on the travel competition series Get Stuffed. Stephen currently works with the development team on several exciting upcoming projects!
Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas (NOT Missouri), Josh Pratt is our post production Jedi. He is a master of editing, workflows, finishing, and all things tech. Josh has worked on numerous TV series and documentaries for networks including OWN, OLN, Discovery, Knowledge, Bravo, MuchMusic, and Sportsnet. Josh has a beautiful wife, Tara, and son, Tosh, but we’re all very thankful for his Boston terrier, Gypsy, who is our trusty office dog.
